It's fine to buy second hand watches with imperfections, as long as they're clearly stated in the description (or shown in pictures). Scratch and huge misalignment need to be clarified beforehand, even on cheap watches. But the most important aspect is having a customer service that replies disdainfully that: if you buy a cheap watch that's what you can expect.
